Guan Yu: Prosperity with Integrity

During the Ming and Qing dynasties, merchants from Shanxi honoured Guan Yu, a figure from their own native province, as their protector. They admired his loyalty, his commitment to his word and his sense of righteousness. These qualities became an ideal for commerce: to earn prosperity through honourable conduct.

As Shanxi merchants extended their trading networks, their devotion to Guan Yu travelled with them. He became widely revered as a Martial God of Wealth and, in one tradition of the Five Gods of Wealth, as the guardian of the western direction.

For kinda direction, his story speaks to the trust built through everyday choices: keeping a promise, treating others fairly and remaining true to your principles as you move forward. Prosperity carries meaning when it is built on something you can stand behind.

Step 1: Measure your wrist

Place a flexible measuring tape around your wrist where you would wear your bracelet. Keep it snug against your skin without pulling tight. Enter this measurement without adding extra length.

Wrap a strip of paper or a non-stretch string around your wrist. Mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat and measure the distance with a ruler.

Step 2: Choose your fit

Enter your wrist measurement and select Tight, Standard or Loose. For example: 17.5 cm, Standard.

Tight
A close fit with very little movement.
Standard
A comfortable everyday fit with a little movement.
Loose
A relaxed fit with more room to move.
